Hot had already started working on two additional seasons even before the television pilot was aired. Season two began airing on October 17, 2011. Savyon and Amir sold the format to John Wells in October 2011. The adaptation, named "Hard Up", will air on FOX.

Moti (Shalom Michaelshvili) owns an old plot of land that he inherited from his grandfather and he lives there with his three childhood friends "Itzik" (Oz Zehavi), "Katzer" (Guy Amir), and "Newton" (Hanan Savyon). They spend most of their time smoking and slaking and looking for ways to make easy money to get through the day. But everything changes when Muti receives a letter from the municipality with a final order before the foreclosure of the land he owns because of a debt of about NIS 750,000 that the land has accumulated over the years since his grandfather's days. From there, things take a turn, and on their way to the money, they get involved in crime, the underworld, love affairs, and lies.
