Season 2 of Unearthed premiered on May 23, 2017.

The second series explores the mysteries of twelve ancient wonders: The Tomb of Tutankhamun, the Great Sphinx at Giza, the Mexican pyramid city of Teotihuacan, the Egyptian temple complex at Karnak, Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, Scotland’s Stirling Castle, Stonehenge, the Taj Mahal, the Inca city of Machu Picchu, China’s ancient Terracotta Army, Jordon’s secret city of Petra and the Coliseum at Rome.

Season 3 of Unearthed premiered on May 15, 2018.

The third season reveals how the ancient Egyptians built Karnak by raising an obelisk using traditional techniques; uncovers the secrets of the lost fortresses of the Viking Age; looks for the Kublai Khan's hidden Yuan Palace in China; and it joins investigators uncovering nearly 1000 years of history beneath the Statue of Liberty.

Season 4 of Unearthed premiered on October 2, 2018.

The fourth season kicks off with an investigation into the Titanic and its infamous demise. Among the other site explored in the new season are Pompeii’s last unexplored quarter, the Bent Pyramid in Egypt and the lost city of Tikal located deep inside the Guatemalan jungle.
